On October 20, 2018 Aaron Beaver set out to attempt his 1st 100k ultra running trail race. He has been training hard and putting in the miles and time but the uwharrie 100 if a totally different beast. I hope you enjoy the suffering.
2017 Uwharrie 100

I recorded this video while running the URE Marathon on March 11th, 2017. This should give you a good preview of what the trail is like. Lots of fun hills, rocks, roots, water crossings, more hills... it's just relentless. It was a beautiful trail and I had a fantastic time.

Here's a short clip from our double training run last weekend. Our last training run before race day is scheduled for October 7th starting at 7:00am. We'll be meeting up at the Wood Run Trail Head which is located off of HWY 24/27 approximately 7 miles west of Troy, NC.
